All-In-One Bookstore, Café and Bar Opens In SoHo

NEW YORK (January 31, 2024) - Bibliotheque, an all-in-one bookstore, café and wine bar recently opened its doors in the heart of SoHo.

Founded in January 2022 by father-son duo Dr. Andrew Jacono and A.J. Jacono, the space houses over 10,000 books ranging from science fiction to rare first edition literature stories. With thousands of books on display, visitors can access new and rare books while exploring the world of literature.

From opening to around 5pm, visitors can read a book, work, and enjoy pastries and a cup of coffee from the café. Café menu items include Hojicha, Cold Brew, Cubano Sandwich, and Earl Grey Tea.

Coffee beans are sourced from family-owned coffee roaster company, Lavazza. This rich coffee contains hints of bittersweet chocolate and toasted nuts.

Tea lovers can enjoy flavors such as Matcha Latte, Hojicha Latte, Earl Grey, Chamomile, and English Breakfast.

Food, pastries and snack items are from Épicerie Boulud. Daily specials and selections are only available in-person.

Menu item prices range from $4 to $18, based on the choice of food, drinks, pastries, and snacks.

The bar area seats up to 30 people, and features art pieces from artists such as Alexander Calder, Henri Matisse, and more.

During evening hours, visitors (21 and over) can enjoy a glass of wine. Over 3,000 bottles of wines are featured in Bibliotheque’s curated wine collection. Their wine list are created based on various genres such as short stories, romance and art history. Twenty by-the-glass options are available on the bar menu for wine lovers to explore.

Due to seating demands, a strict no laptop policy is enforced after 5pm.

Throughout the library-space lounge, a collection of fine art is displayed. Artworks displayed are from various artists include P.X. Miranda, Rashid Johnson and Damien Hirst.

Located in the rear section of Bibliotheque, the lounge seats up to 20 people featuring sofas, armchairs and banquettes.

Whether a visitor is seeking a cup of coffee, a classic book to read, or a night outing with friends, Biblotheque provides a cozy, intimate space for visitors to socialize, relax, and read books in the heart of SoHo.
